ABOUT
Dr. Edward Joy is a general surgeon practicing in Bridgewater and servicing the South Shore of Nova Scotia. His practice includes both elective and emergency operations, and endoscopy.
Dr. Joy got his medical degree and surgery training at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. He always knew that Nova Scotia was where he wanted to practice, as he is from and grew up here.
SERVICES
Dr. Joy's scope of practice includes endoscopy (gastroscopy & colonoscopy), hernia repair, colon operations, and other typical procedures that fall within general surgery. Our office also helps to coordinate diagnostic imaging and other tests on the course to finding a treatment plan for our patients.
